The Poconos and Wayne County make up a large share of our pool work. Mount Pocono, East Stroudsburg, Sterling, Waymart, Damascus, Lake Ariel, Hamlin and the surrounding lake communities are all areas we build in regularly.
What we build here
Two things make this region different. The first is terrain — sloped, wooded, often rocky lots where the flat area for a pool and deck has to be cut and held in place. Retaining wall work is the norm here rather than the exception, and access roads sometimes need attention before a truck can reach the back of a property at all.
The second is that a large number of these homes are second homes or seasonal rentals. That changes the brief. Owners are frequently not on site during construction, want the pool open for a specific rental window, and care a great deal about how the pool behaves when nobody is there to watch it. Scheduling around a rental calendar, safety covers, and finishes that tolerate freeze-thaw at elevation all matter more here than they do down in the valley.
